- We rode our BMX bikes with GoPro POV filming down a cave to explore and ride some cool spots including a full pipe, a log flume and a train track. We started riding an old log flume to get to the train track, where we rode the rails, further to the full pipe and flipped!

That’s the kind of stuff we use to do back in the fifties in California .
We would take our skateboards into the flood drain pipes that ran under the street on a very steep road . We taped flashlights to the front of the boards and laid down on the them .
The speed was insane and the semi darkness made it even more scary . We used our shoes as brakes by dragging them on the sides of the pipe. 🤪

I ride cross-country using dual sport motorcycling. To discover caves for exploration.
Did so today in temperate rain forest. State land open for public use. Started by use
of recent forestry bulldozer work. muddy, but free of log obstructions. To local karst.
Seen as sinkholes and bared limestone solution features on wooded mountainside.
No ride soundtrack music other than my engine ride sound. Over a thousand feet of
elevation gain. Wearing black MSR armored boots, orange open mesh attire, black
impact gloves. and black open face off-road motorcycle helmet . Shoulder holstered
Glock .357 for bear defense.. Found a pair of rusty 8-geared mountain bikes chained
to a tree. Moss told me they had been there for years with no use. Mystery clues ?
massive respect for wearing safety equipment. this way kids who you influence will also stay safe. im tired of seeing bmx content creators go out and pull of tricks with no safety equipment or warnings. this way kid viewers will also not wear safety equipment and get injured

Lol literally was just recommended and watched another cave video and how he got stuck and died, and now RUclips’s recommending me to watch another dude going into a cave, but this time on a bike doing bmx tricks... I think RUclips’s on the caving and do similarly stupid life-threatening and dangerous shit algorithm, it’s very oddly specific and somewhat mortifying after that video of the dude dying, but somehow I’m still mildly interested enough to watch... thanks RUclips, now I know I have some odd fascination with this, and probably a little too much than I should 😂
Okay just watched the cave part . And well it wasn’t really that crazy compared to the video I had just watched previously, but then I guess it’s kinda hard to one up ... ya know if a video literally concludes with someone’s death after being stuck for 27hrs with the rescue team there literally unable to pull him out because a rescue attempt was impossible for his situation. So literally him just stuck knowing he had no hope of escape, and his inevitable death slowly encroaching as he runs out of oxygen to his brain and organs slowly failing. And y’know he was also married with a second kid on the way. Super morbid and literally felt the life draining out of me as I listened to those ten minutes narrating his end. Compared to that... yeah...But I guess I can’t complain about these guys having a bit of safe fun after watching the horrific results of the first video when taking things to the foolishly stupid extreme. But still... somehow not as entertaining. I guess that makes me a horrible person 😅
